There is no cut-off score, and the sensory differences it captures are real but not unique to autism — they also occur in ADHD, sensory processing differences, migraine, PTSD and chronic pain. Use your total and, more usefully, the pattern of what bothers you, to understand your sensory needs and ask for accommodations — not as a verdict about any diagnosis.
