⚠ The RAADS-R is an adjunct clinical tool, not a diagnostic test — and its authors designed it to be completed with a clinician present, not alone online. A total of 65+ was consistent with autism in the validation study, but scores can be raised or lowered by self-report bias, co-occurring conditions, and masking. A score below 65 does not rule autism out, especially for women and late-identified adults: the scale was normed on a 72%-male sample. Treat any number here as a starting point for a conversation — not a verdict.
